The paper is focused on the future of Design Education, by stressing the need for the knowledge of Culture and Crafts as an integral part of Design Education that will help the Designers of tomorrow to be prepared for the Future. This paper examines ways in which knowledge of crafts and culture can be interlinked together in Design education with a specific example - a case study of an Interior Design course in India.
